Unfortunately we do not do initial piercings with jewellery provided by the customer.
We have to make sure the jewellery is sterilised properly and the material is suitable. Therefore we only use our own jewellery to pierce with.
We are more than happy to fit or change jewellery, we just have to make sure the piercing is completely healed.
If the jewellery is purchased from Metal Morphosis, the fitting is free. For jewellery purchased elsewhere, a £5 fitting charge might apply.
Piercings are a walk in service only, there is no need to book. However during busy periods, especially on weekends there might be a bit of a wait. We recommend to always book an appointment for a tattoo. We do accept walk ins when possible, but we can not guarantee that it is possible to tattoo walk in customers.
We never use a piercing gun.
All body piercings are done with sterile, single use needles. However we offer ear lobe piercings with a sterile cartridge system (Studex). This system works very similar to a gun, but with it being a single use sterile cartridge it is much cleaner than a piercing gun. This system can only be used on lobe piercings.
We do. If the Microdermal was done in a Metal Morphosis studio, the removal is free.
If the Microdermal was done in another studio, a £10 charge applies.
No, we do not use any form of anaesthetic.
Piercings and tattoos cause a minimum amount of discomfort or pain, so no anaesthetic is needed.
Some piercings (like oral frenulums) can heal within only 10 days, other piercings (like belly button) can take up to 4 months.
Our piercers will be happy to inform you about the exact healing time of your piercing. Please do follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your piercer.
In general, most tattoos heal in about 2-3 weeks. This is the initial healing time as this is only the outside of the tattoo. Once the scabs have fallen off, it usually takes a few more weeks for it to fully heal underneath. The placement of the tattoo can also affect the healing time (if clothing rubs against the tattoo it might not heal as quickly).
Please do follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your tattooist.
We ask all customers to fill in a medical questionnaire before any treatment, if we have any concerns, or believe that the treatment might have a negative effect on your health, we will refuse to carry out the treatment.
If you are not sure if a tattoo or piercing might effect your health, please consult your GP before the treatment.

Please ensure you have eaten less than an hour before coming in for your appointment, this helps to raise your blood sugar level and will help with your treatment.
DO NOT have ANY alcohol the day of your treatment, alcohol will make you bleed more and will cause a problem with tattoo healing.
Piercing tends to bleed very little but if you have had even a small amount of alcohol it can make them bleed more and be harder to stop. By law, we can not pierce or tattoo you if you had alcohol on the day of your treatment.
Please see our services page for more information on how to prepare for your treatment.
